Saturday 29th May 2010:
Shop and Sand Tour
- This is a trip for the shopaholics amongst us.
- Have a great time at one of our shopping centres.
- Travel to one of our coastal towns, Yeppoon, where you will be allowed to shop again.
- Then you will be taken on a tour of some of the coastal sights.
Sunday 30th May 2010:
Markets, Gardens and Sights Tour
- A short walk from the Leichhardt, you will be at the Kern Arcade markets, where you will be able to look around for the bargains.
- Then it is on to the bus and off to the botanical gardens and zoo, where you will have free time to explore at your leisure.
- Then the bus will show you the sights of Rockhampton before returning to the Leichhardt.
Monday 31st May 2010:
Gold, Cattle and Eggs Tour
- A short trip to the historical town of Mount Morgan, where you will be able to investigate the main street and try their renowned bakery at your leisure.
- Then it is off to see the sights of the gold mining town.
- This is followed by lunch at a country pub.
- Then a visit to the well known Gracemere saleyards.
- Head to Mount Hay to fossick for thunder eggs and then have some of your unique gemstones cut while you watch, before viewing one of Australia’s largest gemstone factories and touring the Aradon fine pewter factory.
